Yoshiki Classical at Royal Albert Hall – Friday, October 13

Last month, YOSHIKI became the first Japanese artist to be honored with a handprint and footprint ceremony at the Chinese Theatre in Hollywood since the tradition began in 1927. He also made his directorial debut with the feature documentary film YOSHIKI: Under the Sky, which premiered in Tokyo, New York, London, and Los Angeles.

Ellie Goulding and YOSHIKI will be unveiling their new collaboration live on stage at Royal Albert Hall.

YOSHIKI collaborated with St. Vincent to create a classical arrangement of her song "New York", which they performed together in YOSHIKI:Under the Sky.

NME commented, "The new version is injected with a classical twist, with the singer’s vocals bolstered by Yoshiki’s striking strings."

St. Vincent

Annie Clark (better known as St. Vincent) has been hailed as one of the most innovative and fascinating multidisciplinary artists working today. Her 2014 self-titled sophomore album won the Grammy for Best Alternative Album, and in 2017, working with co-producer Jack Antonoff, St. Vincent created a defining statement with Masseduction. The album broke into the U.S. and U.K top 10s and landed atop Best of 2017 lists in The New York Times, The Guardian, AV Club, Billboard, Entertainment Weekly, NME, USA Today, and more. In 2020, she co-wrote and starred in the IFC feature film The Nowhere Inn.

Her 2021 album Daddy’s Home channeled the hung over glamor and gritty sepia-toned sound of 1970s downtown NYC to an ecstatic reception, winning St. Vincent another Grammy award for Best Alternative Album.
