Stanford University’s Walter H. Shorenstein Asia-Pacific Research Center, a part of the Freeman Spogli Institute for International Studies, has announced that YOSHIKI will be featured on a keynote panel at their upcoming conference, "The Future of Social Tech: Nurturing Skills and Markets for Social Impact Innovation".The conference, which will be the inaugural event in a special series for Shorenstein APARC's 40th Anniversary, will take place on Thursday, February 23, 2023, at 9:30am at Stanford University’s Paul Brest Hall.The conference is free and open to the public.Registration is required and will open on February 1, 2023, at 10am Pacific Time.
THE LAST ROCKSTARS will partner with Live Nation and Veeps for a global livestream of their sold-out February 10th concert in Los Angeles at the Hollywood Palladium.
Rock music fans worldwide (excluding select territories) will be able to view the show in its entirety via the Veeps platform, which has hosted previous concerts by Megan Thee Stallion, A$AP Rocky, Bebe Rexha, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson of One Direction, and Kings of Leon.
The concert will be streamed on computers and mobile devices, with delayed viewing available for up to 72 hours. Band merchandise will also be available during the livestream.
Fans from around the world have been asking YOSHIKI to bring YOSHIKI, HYDE, SUGIZO, and MIYAVI's Superband THE LAST ROCKSTARS to their cities for live shows, since the band released the official music video for their first single "THE LAST ROCKSTARS (Paris Mix)" on January 20th. YOSHIKI commented on the official video on YouTube, asking "Which countries do you want us to perform?", to which fans immediately reacted in their local languages, asking for the band to come to UK, Germany, Italy, Brazil, Chile, Spain, Portugal, China, Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, and more, in addition to Japan and the US where the band is already scheduled to tour.
THE LAST ROCKSTARS – YOSHIKI (drums and piano), HYDE (vocals), SUGIZO (guitar), and MIYAVI (guitar) – has announced the all-female rock group BAND-MAID as the opening act for the U.S. dates of their Live Debut 2023 tour.

YOSHIKI announced today that he is making a donation of 10 million yen to the International Organization for Migration (IOM), bringing the total amount he donated to 20 million yen. This donation will enable IOM to further support all those affected by the war in Ukraine and will directly support emergency relief operations in Ukraine and neighboring countries. YOSHIKI said, “It’s hard to celebrate the holidays when I know there are people suffering. I hope this gift will support people in need and hope this charity movement will continue to spread and inspire others to help. I’m praying for all those people affected by the war and hoping this donation will help in any way possible.”

UDO Artists, Inc. has announced that limited view seats for The Last Rockstars' shows at Tokyo Garden Theatre on Sun. 1/29 and Mon. 1/30 will go on sale on Wed. 1/18 at 12am JST, exclusively to fan club members, due to overwhelming demand.
Regular tickets to these shows sold out immediately, so to accommodate the continued overwhelming demand, UDO has decided to release balcony seat tickets with limited to no view of the stage , for those who wish to still attend the band's debut shows.
The tickets will be available for sale on a lottery basis from 12:00 am to 11:59 pm JST on 1/18 to members of each band member's fan clubs.
The special NHK documentary program "The Professionals" featuring YOSHIKI received an amazing response from viewers during its premiere on December 20. The program followed YOSHIKI for three-and-a-half years for a behind-the-scenes look at his musical activities across the globe, his extensive charity work, live performances, and more. Social media was flooded with comments when YOSHIKI stated that he felt he was "still an amateur", despite his many accomplishments.
YOSHIKI has been invited as a special guest on the popular music competition show "Singing King", which is celebrating its 10th year. The program has launched the careers of many successful Japanese vocalists, and this year's competition received over 21,000 applications. The total prize money for the winner is 3 million yen!
